"What have you been up to behind the scenes?"
We are asked this time and again every year by close networking colleagues, fellow photographers and industry contacts.
Well if we said BRANDING was and is constantly on our minds at the moment, and has been for a good six months, it would be a bang on appraisal...
We've taken a step back for a moment, to look inwards, as a client would, and assessed our brand image, asking ourselves, is it going to be good enough to propel us through the next 5 years, WOW enough to speak to our target audience, refined enough to show our portfolio to the industry and big enough to stand up to our plans for the future too.
So, that's why, we're very pleased to announce, we're getting a new look, a facelift, and being fitted with brand new shoes - we're so giddy in anticipation with it all too.
We created our brief, researched and shortlisted a healthy number of professional and specialist branding, full design and new media agencies within the UK, have had consultations with several of those companies, and are really pleased to say, we have awarded the commission and much sought after brand, web design and build project to Freebird New Media Ltd.
Freebird will now join the Ashford Daly team, to work their design magic with us, in developing and creating our new revamped image, to engineer a wonderful new logo, new corporate bespoke branding portfolio, a super duper website, and the associated new media to go alongside it, for the Ashford Daly brand and our Photographic business arms as a whole going forwards, to tie into the business' photography and personal goals and objectives planned over the next five years.
Well done to Nige Burton and his whole very talented team, we are hugely excited and really looking forward to experiencing the whole inspiring creative process with you - we can't wait to get stuck in.
We will be revealing new developments to all of you out there very soon, as the bespoke design and build elements are ready for launching and for sharing with our wider audience in the forthcoming weeks and months.
Watch our website and media channel spaces below for changes as they start being phased in, through a series of key implementations, and for further PR and news updates as they're released during the rest of the year.
